This was the coolest thing at bikeshow

For all the whiners and haters who walked around looking at POS new bikes and can't figure out that show is more about the atmosphere and meeting riding buddies in the middle of the winter. Or watching Brian kill close to 100 hot wings or getting your pic taken with a promo skank so your wife can beat you later or asking a dealer 100 stupid questions or standing around a pivoting piece of garbage VFR like I wanted to touch it or eating $5 chinese foot long hotdogs..

Out side was the coolest race ever held . A bunch of old ratbikes, choppers, Cb's, KZ's ....

Everyone dressed like 1970 serial killers trying to race around a track.

It was a blast and probably the most entertaining new thing the show has ever tried. This for me was what the show is about being entertained by other enthusiasts regardless of what they ride.New bikes can be seen anytime , this was the unique.

Big thanks to Holly and Nannette for putting it on as well as the motard and stunt show.

When was the rat race?

I have never had so much fun on my 50 before this weekend. I spent all day Saturday riding/racing my 50 around the track in between shows and loved it!!

My ass is sore as hell now though... I can't believe my little 50 held my weight over all the jumps I hit. So much fun.

I took my friends 10 year old out to watch that race ........I also thought it was the best part of the show , all the sparks from the guy on that old Can-Am 250 when he baled just before the corner , that ole' bike that won was cool ............it was a crazy but fun race to watch , just pure fun on 2 wheels .

What makes you think people didnt go watch it? I effing loved it! The sound and the smell of those Yamaha 2 strokers put the biggest grin on my face... the only bigger grin i had this and last year was when i got my bike running again a couple weeks ago.

how would one go about getting one of those street legal to bomb around the city and cause heart attacks in elderly and getting little kids crying?

He woulda been the greaser on the chopper with the 70's starburst metal-flake paint job.... I don't see him in the pics (his bike is in the first shot though), but I do see our other buddy D (blue coffin-tanked chopper), standing around looking suspicious.

Didnt see that! would have loved too! IN the old days there used to be a beater class that was a blast to see...Run what you brung....some good stuff and junk would show up....the good bikes got staged behind the crap bikes to make it fair...

Got to see the supermoto....

Good job on it all Bill, Holly, and all....heard about Gas...hope he heals up quick....

For sure the highlight of the bike show...couldnt imagine a show without bikes racing around....

Dakar sure has grown!!!!

Second best part of the night was Slivers skinny jeans.

George you would have loved ripping around with the ratbikes. I'm planning on having a bunch of ratbike motard "practices " this year.

That helmet you had on was sick looking. I checked out the booth inside, guy had the metallic green one on the top left, I had the exact same thing in 1978 when I first started riding a 50 Honda. I'll have to place an order when I get back to work. $125 can't go wrong.

Mine was darker than this one.

My brothers was the same green in this pattern.
